Bio & Books

Jim Blackmann is a writer and musician. He grew up in Canada before moving to the north of England. After some travelling he settled in Bath. He began writing novels, essays and poetry before turning to song-writing. His 'heartfelt' musical style reflects his formative years, and his background as a writer shows in his lyrical ability. His musical influences include the Canadian folk singers Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell.
